The premiere of an uplifting and accessible new opera staged by Swansea City Opera and based on the poignant and humourous stories of the members of Men’s Sheds Cymru

This unique organisation supports lonely men by creating warm and welcoming spaces where people can learn new skills, build friendships, make new beginnings and drink tea!

By listening to stories and sharing the laughter of ‘Shedders’, Brendan crafted the story and libretto of Shoulder to Shoulder. The composer and clarinettist Lenny Sayers, whose music has been broadcast on BBC Radio 3, BBC Radio Wales, BBC Radio Cymru and BBC Radio Scotland, wrote the score.
