International concert pianist Iwan Llewelyn-Jones returns to Ucheldre by popular demand for a series of Sunday afternoon concerts.
In choosing the themes for his four recitals, Iwan has drawn inspiration from British and European literature, and also pays homage to two titans of the piano world, Ferruccio Busoni (1866-1924) and Gabriel Fauré (1845-1924). Each recital will feature Busoni’s virtuosic transcriptions of masterpieces by the great Johann Sebastian Bach alongside performances of Fauré’s beautiful Nocturnes, together some of the best-loved piano works of all time.
