Join Iwan for the third of his Sunday afternoon piano concerts at Ucheldre. Today’s programme explores piano music inspired by seascapes from the pens of Gabriel Fauré, Franz Liszt, and Bedrich Smetana, and includes a performance of the rarely heard masterpiece, ‘Le chant de la mer’, by Gustave Samazeuilh, a contemporary and close friend of Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel. Captivating scenes of Anglesey’s coastline by celebrated artists Gwilym Pritchard and Claudia Williams will accompany Iwan’s performances.
