At the end of the 19th century, a young Danish priest is sent to a remote part of Iceland. The deeper he travels into the Icelandic landscape, the more he loses a sense of his own reality, his mission and his sense of duty.

Danish Priest Lucas (Elliott Crosset Hove) travels by sea and land to build a church in a remote Icelandic parish in the late 1800s. His enmity with his guide Ragnar (Ingvar Eggert Sigurðsson), the harsh weather and the hostility of the locals to Danish interlopers make his life an ordeal.

Written and directed by Hlynur Pálmason and starring Elliott Crossest Hove, Ingvar Eggert Sigurðsson and Vic Carmen Sonne.
