A celebration of dance work

Three Duets was made by the FFIN DANCE company dancers.

They developed and researched their own home comforts and choreographed a duet for the other 2 dancers. This results in 3 short independent insights into the dancers own interpretation of hiraeth.

The duets convey time, family heritage and a feeling of gravitas

 
Made for three dancers, fourfold explores layered choreography through four sections set to music by Steve Reich and Evelyn Glennie: the piece was created as a direct response to the music. The dancer’s bodies create architectural shapes in space, carving a rhythmical pathway which leads to a fast-paced finale.
