International concert pianist Iwan Llewelyn-Jones returns to Ucheldre by popular demand for a series of Sunday afternoon concerts in March, June, August and October 2023.
In choosing the themes for his four recitals, Iwan has drawn inspiration from the captivating Welsh landscape. He also pays homage to celebrated artists associated with Anglesey including Kyffin Williams, Charles Tunnicliffe, Gwilym Pritchard, Claudia Williams and Philippa Jacobs. Join Iwan as he performs some of the best-loved classical piano works of all time.
For the first of his Sunday afternoon piano concerts in 2023, Iwan performs a selection of best-loved classics by Chopin, Liszt, Schumann, and Brahms, whilst paying tribute to the artist, Sir Kyffin Williams with his own transcriptions of songs by Meirion Williams to accompany images of the artist’s most iconic paintings.
